Gloriously rich, this inky black Malbec owes its name to the founder of the bodega, Enrico Titarelli. Enrico arrived in Argentina in the early 1900s, seeking his fortune and escaping the poverty of life as an agricultural labourer in southern Italy.
Once in Argentina, Enrico found a job working in the country's fledgling vineyards. He so impressed his employers with his hard work and dedication to viticulture that he was eventually made manger, and owner of a small plot of vineyards in Los Campamentos, Rivadavia.
The Tittarelli family's sumptuous oak-aged Trophy Reserve, from an outstanding vintage, is full of dark, spicy plum and smooth vanilla oak. Perfect with steak!
